An unforgettable YMCA camp experience

“This was my son’s first summer away at Camp Queen Elizabeth, but NOT his last,” writes one parent following her child’s return from a summer camp run by the YMCA of Western Ontario.

Thanks to the support of donors to YMCA Strong Kids, Michael, an older brother to special-needs siblings, was able to “be a normal child for two weeks,” says his mother.

“He is still wearing his swim test bracelet because he wants to remember his time … This was the most positive thing that could have happened to him this summer. I would not have been able to afford it without the help of Strong Kids. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
