The YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador continues to be recognized for its environmental efforts. Previous to this announcement, the YMCA in Marystown earned the province’s first LEED Gold certification. Now, the Association has been honoured with a 2019 Luminary Award in the category of Leadership – Organization for significant energy-efficient improvements to its facilities across the province. The awards are an initiative of takeCHARGE, a joint organization of the province’s electricity utilities. Congratulations!
