About us
The YMCA in Canada
The YMCA in Canada is a federation of 37 independent local YMCA Associations and YMCA Canada, the national office, that operate autonomously but collaborate under a shared purpose. Collectively, we reach 2 million Canadians across more than 1,000 locations.
YMCA Canada’s Role
As the national office, our role is to support and strengthen YMCA Associations. We do this by fostering collaboration between YMCAs, protecting the YMCA’s reputation, and advocating on behalf of YMCAs nationally and internationally.
