2026 YMCA World Council

In 2026, YMCA Canada, in partnership with YMCA of Greater Toronto, will host the YMCA World Council. It is a global YMCA event and governance meeting that brings together YMCA staff and volunteers from around the world every four years. The conference will take place in Toronto from July 19-25, 2026 and offers YMCA Canada an opportunity to host delegates from over 100 countries. 

2026 Indigenous Programs Gathering

In April 2026, YMCA staff from across Canada will gather at YMCA Camp Chief Hector in Kananaskis, Alberta to learn, grow, and strengthen our Indigenous programs and more broadly, our commitment to Reconciliation.

    YMCA Peace Week

    YMCA Peace Week is a time when YMCAs celebrate the presence of peace in our communities and reflect on the peace-building work that happens all year both inside and outside the YMCA.

    YMCA Fellowship of Honour

    Since 1981, 123 individuals from across Canada have been appointed to the YMCA Fellowship of Honour. The profiles of each recipient show how these leaders have passed on a legacy of caring from one generation to the next and have inspired civic responsibility in others.
