    The YMCA receives $9.4 million in funding to advance equity in learning 

    YMCA Canada is proud to announce $9.4 million in funding through the Government of Canada’s Supports for Student Learning Program (SSLP) to launch the YMCA’s new Youth Education Supports Program (YESP). This national initiative is designed to help youth overcome barriers to education and unlock their full potential.

    Diabetes Prevention Program Rolls Out Across Canada

    Thousands of Canadians with prediabetes will soon be able to sign up at participating YMCAs for a diet and exercise counseling program proven to lower their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. The program, Small Steps for Big Changes, currently delivered at select YMCAs in BC, is poised to expand to more YMCAs across Canada and Australia.
