YMCA Canada adopts the global strategy Vision 2030, focused on four pillars:

YMCA Canada’s national speaking tour, Communities That Thrive: The YMCA’s Vision for a Stronger Tomorrow, made meaningful stops in both Saskatoon and Regina on November 18 and 19, spotlighting the life-changing impact of local YMCAs and strengthening partnerships across the province.

YMCA Canada is proud to announce $9.4 million in funding through the Government of Canada’s Supports for Student Learning Program (SSLP) to launch the YMCA’s new Youth Education Supports Program (YESP). This national initiative is designed to help youth overcome barriers to education and unlock their full potential.

YMCA Canada applauds new federal investments in community spaces and youth employment announced in Canada Strong, Budget 2025. These measures will strengthen opportunities for young people and enhance inclusive, connected communities across the country. However, we call for renewed investment in affordable child care to ensure lasting progress for families.
