Membership issues & inquiries
Your YMCA membership is managed by one of our local YMCA Associations, each of which operates independently. Because of this, we don’t have access to their membership systems and aren’t able to assist with things like cancellations or payments. The best way to get help is by contacting your local YMCA directly.

Employment & volunteer opportunities
The YMCA is more than a place to work or volunteer—it’s a chance to make a meaningful difference in your community. YMCA Canada shares job postings for the national office on our Careers page. Most YMCA employment and volunteer opportunities are managed locally by our YMCA Associations. For opportunities in your community, we encourage you to connect directly with your nearest YMCA.

Moving to & working in Canada
We receive many messages from people who want to move to Canada or find a job or volunteer opportunity in Canada. YMCAs can help people after they arrive in Canada. But we are not able to help with the immigration process. For the best and most current information about moving to Canada, please visit the Government of Canada website.
To find support after you arrive in Canada, use our Locations page to find the YMCA closest to where you will live. Many local YMCAs offer newcomer programs to help you get started in your new community.
