The YMCA of Northeastern Ontario has made the washroom facilities of the Sudbury YMCA available to the homeless population in their community. A telephone and computer will also be available so that additional social services can be accessed by phone or online when needed.
As told to the CBC, Helen Francis, President & CEO of the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario says "The YMCA values the role we play in building healthy communities, during this pandemic we have to play our role in a different way and we are happy that our facility can be used to support this vulnerable population."
