2016 marks the 125th anniversary of the invention of basketball by Dr. James Naismith in 1891, working at the YMCA International Training School.  To mark this 125 year milestone, the NBA is hosting the 2016 All Star Game in Toronto in February 2016, the first time the game will be held outside of the U.S.A.!

We are pleased to have been selected as the official Community Partner for the BMO NBA All-Star Kids Fests taking place in select communities across Canada from mid-November 2015 leading up to the All-Star game. These events will include basketball clinics for youth aged 8-13 with appearances by NBA Legends, Dancers and Mascots, and in select markets, the Larry O’Brien championship trophy.

The first stop was in Winnipeg where NBA Legend Muggsy Bogues visited with children and families during BMO NBA All-Star Kidsfest. Also bringing the energy and excitement of the NBA were the Raptors Dance Pak and Raptor Mascot.
